Everyone at Manchester Baseball Club would like to congratulate Amber “Frosty” Frost on another selection for Team GB.
Amber has been selected as one of 16 travelling for the Canada Cup which is one of the world’s most prestigious open women’s fastpitch tournament where Team GB have participated a number of times over the past 20 years, in a test against top national and club teams from around the world.
The Canada Cup Under-17 will be held in Surrey, British Columbia, near Vancouver from 10th to 16th of July. The tournament and team’s aim is to promote the sport and developent of yound players who will compete in the European Championship next year for the Under 15 age group.
Amber “Frosty” Frost on her selection: “I am extremely happy to represent Team GB for a second year and look forward to both travelling and playing in Canada with the team. It will be an amazing experience which I will be taking all the skills I have learnt through my training and I hope to do my club and teamates proud at the event”.
