Whether you have played baseball your whole life or just want to come and try a new sport – Experienced players and first timers are all welcome. Indoor training is pre-season until the weather improves and the home ground is ready for outdoor sessions. All equipment is provided so just bring yourself and some general sportswear suitable for indoor or outdoor training. 

We currently have 3 coed adult teams participating in the Northern Baseball League across two divisions (A’s, Bees & C’s). We also have a Women’s team starting up and hopeful to build a dedicated squad ready to compete in 2024. The regular season generally runs from March to September. 

All outdoor regular season adult training sessions are free and we welcome new members to come and try the sport or even if you are unable to play competitively it would be great for you to join our baseball community. 

To play competitively for the Manchester Baseball Club you must become a paying member. Your membership fees cover insurance, ground maintenance, equipment and helps to cover the costs of running the club. Manchester Baseball Club also welcomes Social Members. As well as helping to support your local baseball club, it also entitles you to discounts at the nearby Wythenshawe Cricket Club.
