Manchester Baseball Club has always provided a co-ed environment for women in baseball and we are proud to have encouraged a number of women players as well as having senior committee involvement for several years.

MBC recognises that right now, there are not enough women in baseball. In an effort to promote and encourage a greater involvement we have expanded to add a women’s team.

No experience is necessary in sport or baseball – we are here to encourage involvement and participation in baseball. The club will provide all equipment that you will require, training sessions will be run involving the entire club as well as specific women only sessions.

If you have any questions or would like to get involved please GET IN TOUCH with us!

Visually Impaired "Vibe"

blind baseball

The sport of Blind Baseball was invented in Italy, 1994 to allow Visually Impaired and sighted platers to play together. The sport was introduced to the UK in 2019 and MBC is proud to be amongst the earliest clubs to add a VI team to our roster. VI players wear a blindfold during games so all levels of visual impairment can be catered for.

No experience of baseball is needed, the club will provide all coaching and equipment in a safe and inclusive environment. The VI team also requires sighted players, guides, assistants, umpires and coaches.

So if you are visually impaired and just want to get active and try something new, come and say hello. If you are sighted and want to help the club provide the opportunity for VI to play baseball, we want to hear from you. GET IN TOUCH today if you want any more information of have any questions.
