AllStar Games

The MBC have been great supporters of the annual all-star game, sending a lot of players to represent England or the Rest of the World and also providing the last two England managers.

Rest of the World vs. Scotland All-Star Game 2002

In 2002 Bill Sheldrick (Glasgow Stars) managed the Rest of the World team which contained MBC player Hervé Boutin. The Rest of the World team faced a Scotland team made up mainly of Glasgow and Edinburgh players, plus some Scots from the English leagues, but a strong Rest of the World team ran out 11-5 winners.

England vs. Scotland All-Star Game 2000

In 2000 Ronan Dunne (A's) managed the England team which contained five MBC players (Roger Young, Dave Gould, Dave Garret, Jim Gunn and Matt Cooper). The Engalnd team faced a very strong Scotland team at Meadowbank stadium in Edinburgh, and a very short centre field saw the Scotland team's winning score boosted to 18-5.

England vs. Scotland All-Star Game 1999

In 1999 Tim Olsen (Express Manager) managed the England team which contained three MBC players (Dave Fisher, John Tucker, and Hervé Boutin). The Engalnd team beat Scotland at their home Meadowbank stadium in Edinburgh, winning a great game 13-11, with England's Liverpool and former GB pitcher Martin Goodsall collecting the MVP award.
