Senior Teams

There are two senior teams in MBC, the first team the Manchester A's, and the Rookie team the Manchester Torrent. The players are picked into squads from the MBC roster, the first 2 teams play in the Northern Confernce.

The second senior team the Torrent was created in 2004, and there have been at least two teams at MBC since the Eagles (formerly known as the Express) were formed in 1999, along with the ever presnt A's. For a detailed history of the baseball in Manchester (since the 1930s) and the MBC click here.

The now retired Manchester Eagles (formerly known as the Express) played for 10 years from 1999 to 2008, and reached the national league play-offs three time, the first in 2000, click here for more information.

MBC entered a team in the London tournament for the first time in 2001 and hope to continue this involvement, MBC also hosted the first northern tournament in 2003. Click here for more information.

MBC were also very active in the annual allstar (England v Scotland) game whilst they were running in the early noughties, click here for more information.
