Senior Teams

There are three senior teams in MBC, the first team the Manchester Eagles (formerly known as the Express), the second team the Manchester A's, and the Rookie team the Manchester Torrent. The players are picked into squads from the MBC roster, the first 2 teams play in the Northern Leagues (the Eagles in the North National League and the A's in the North Div 1), while the third team currently play friendlies.

The third senior team the Torrent was created in 2004, there have been two teams since the Eagles (formerly known as the Express) were former in 1999, for a detailed history of the baseball in Manchester (since the 1930s) and the MBC click here.

The Manchester Eagles (formerly known as the Express) reached the national league play-offs for the first time in 2000, click here for more information.

MBC entered a team in the London tournament for the first time in 2001 and hope to continue this involvement, MBC also hosted the first northern tournament in 2003. Click here for more information.
