Manchester Baseball Club was featured on BBC Radio GMR on Friday 2nd and Monday 5th February 2001. Former Youth Manager Chris Woodall appeared on MUTV (Manchester United Television) on Wednesday 14th February. Former Express Manger Tim Olsen was also interviewed by Channel M in June 2001.

MBC was asked to enter a team on the Barmy Army Gameshow, a sports quiz show for local sports teams made by Granada TV. The team of Roger Young, Jim Gunn and Chris Halloran won their show against Bolton Cycle club, infront of quite a few MBC members who came along to watch.
