national Champions & Bronco

Seniors expand to two teams, forming a new first team the Manchester Express, they finish runners up in the Northern Conference Divcision One and gain promotion to Northern Premiership division in their first season. Manchester A's maintain their position in the in Northern Conference Division One. Bronco team win Halton Tournament. |

Trafford Saints merge with Seniors to form The Manchester Baseball
Club. Junior section awarded major sponsorship package from The Trafford Centre.
Pony & Rookie teams win North West Trophy Finals in Preston the largest UK
Baseball championship in history. Manchester players feature prominently in GB
squads at all levels. GMR feature 1 hour long program on live radio about MBC.
Express make the National play-offs losing to the British champions Brighton. |

Express make the National Premier play-offs losing to the National Premier champions Menwith Hill. |

2003 |
Two MBC junior teams make the Final 4, MBC is the only club in the country to achieve this. The seniors host the very successful inaugural Northern tournament, a combined MBC team win the B-Pool event, while Menwith Hill win the A-Pool event. A's improve to win more matches this season than in their last 4 years combined. |

MBC form a new senior rookie 3rd team - the Torrent, the first team become the Eagles (formerly the Express) and play in the new North National League, an all wood bat league. |
